In the online world, there is a clash – which service should we use to drive traffic and build leads. Some might say SEO is the best, while the others might insist that Google AdWords is the way forward. Whatever the case may be, here let us take quick look at Pay Per Click (PPC) and SEO both services.


What is Google AdWords?

As the name suggests, it is a feature of the search engine Google. Your digital marketing campaign will identify keywords. These keywords will be used to create online advertising which is shown to targeted customers. An expert with a deep understanding of Google AdWords is necessary. For every impression or click, a specified amount is paid to Google. It is like a bid that you decide and based on the keyword popularity and other metrics, the amount is deducted from your account.




What is SEO?

SEO is search engine optimization. It also uses identified keywords to reach users. However, the user base here may or may not relevant to your campaign. It is a free service by Google but you will require the services of an SEO expert to help drive traffic to your website. Many people mistake the knowledge graph for SEO ads. These are organic results showing that the page has the information a user is looking for.



The main difference between PPC and SEO services in India is the quickness of results. Google ads will have a faster impact while SEO which is an organic campaign can take about six months to achieve results.
